I am appalled at the service we received at Cape Ann Pizza. We called in a pick up order on Monday night and when we arrived to pick it up the guy behind the counter explained that our order was never made, and that he wasn't going to make it because it was "too close to closing" at that point. It is unbelievable to me that a restaurant would double down on a mistake like that. Rest assured we will not be ordering here again.
For being so close to the fishing capital of the world..I expected more than a frozen fish patty. The "large" subs are the size our "small" at home. Food is overpriced for quality received.

I like this place, it's a standard sub shop/roast beef place. The first time I came I got a steak bomb because I think it's a great dish to evaluate a new place with. It wasn't bad, but it was chopped way to finely. I'm not sure why some places do this, but its a huge turn off. Based on that I wouldn't have been eager to back there, but it's really close to us so I tried again. I got one of their specialty wraps, and it was really good. The service is so-so, they usually seem a bit harried and orders take a little longer than they usually say it will. I'd recommend this place if you want a sub or sandwich. I'm going back to try the pizza and the roast beef, so I'll update when I do.
